Each of our Storycraft Workshops feature hopeful narratives shared by women in your community, corresponding conversation starters for attendees, and an interactive creative element! By weaving together multiple mediums, we hold true to the She is Kindred model and cultivate common ground and common grace as we learn and connect together!

Sponsored by She is Kindred and The Commons in New Town, this event will include two hours of creativity, community, and connection! Your ticket includes:

• Mini Storycraft workshop with She is Kindred's founder, Britt Nikel Smith. Using a creative, interactive approach Britt will share bits and pieces of her story while helping you discern what makes yours unique! You'll make a collage-style storyboard as the first entry into a customizable journal, highlighting elements of your story - past, present, and future. 

 

• Take-home, custom storyboard journal. We'll provide the journal, inspiration, and art supplies, you customize it like only you can! You'll leave the workshop with a personalized project in hand and plenty of blank pages to fill as you head into the next season of your story. 

 

• Live, personal watercolor portraits by Elysia King. Always wanted to see how cute you'd be in watercolor form? Here's your chance! The brilliant Elysia King will be on-site, painting personalized watercolor portraits for all attendees! Your first hand-painted portrait is included with your ticket; additional portraits available for purchase at the event. 

 

• Refreshments, swag bags, giveaways, and fun surprises! What's a birthday party without treats?! We promise you won't leave empty handed, but you didn't think we'd ruin the surprises before then, did you?! Shhh...come and see what's in store!

 

• Community-building connections & conversations. We've all felt the sting of isolation over the last few years. Life is better when it's lived in community, so invite your friends and expect to meet new ones along the way!
